FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is an agreement signed on screen valid?

Yes. Polish law requires no special form for a car sale between private persons – the agreement is concluded when both parties agree. The on-screen signature with signing evidence (date, time, IP, device, content hash) shows who signed what. If an office asks for written form, you can additionally sign the PDF free with a trusted profile, or print and sign it with a pen.

When do I pay?

Only once everyone has signed. You choose who gets the payment link. If the other party doesn't sign, nobody pays. After payment you both receive the sealed original by email.

Will the office accept an electronically signed agreement?

An agreement signed with a trusted or qualified signature is an electronic document – attach it to an online application. A printout of the signed file is not the original. If you go to the office in person, choose signing on paper.

Who pays PCC tax?

The buyer: 2% of the market value when buying from a private person, if it exceeds 1000 zł. The PCC-3 return is due within 14 days. We calculate the amount and remind you.

What must the seller do after the sale?

Within 30 days report the sale to the vehicle registration office (online possible) and notify the OC insurer. We remind you of both.

Can I sell a car co-owned with my spouse?

Yes. Add a second seller – the agreement covers both co-owners and each signs.

What happens to my data?

It is only used for the agreement and reminders and is deleted automatically after the deadlines (60 days by default). Only the parties know the link.
